Kinase-Glo® Luminescent Kinase Assay Platform Technical Bulletin

Literature # TB372

The Kinase-Glo® Luminescent Kinase Assay Platform provides a homogeneous, high-throughput screening method for measuring kinase activity by quantitating the amount of ATP remaining in solution following a kinase reaction. The Kinase-Glo® Platform consists of three assay formats: the Kinase-Glo® Assay, which is used to monitor kinase activity using up to 10µM ATP; the Kinase-Glo® Plus Assay, which is used for assays requiring higher ATP concentrations (up to 100µM); and the Kinase-Glo® Max Assay, which is used for assays requiring up to 500µM ATP. The Kinase-Glo® Assays are performed in a single well of a multiwell plate by adding a volume of Kinase-Glo® Reagent equal to the volume of a completed kinase reaction and measuring luminescence. The luminescent signal is correlated with the amount of ATP present and is inversely correlated with the amount of kinase activity.
