GenePrint® Fluorescent STR Systems Technical Manual

The GenePrint® Fluorescent STR Systems contain all of the materials required to perform 100 or 400 amplification reactions, except for Taq DNA Polymerase and sample DNA. All of the GenePrint® Fluorescent STR Systems contain 10X primer pairs. In each pair, one of the primers is labeled with fluorescein (FL), and the matched primer is unlabeled. STR 10X Buffer, loading solution, the appropriate allelic ladder and K562 DNA (positive control) are also provided. This manual describes the methods that we have evaluated and recommend for sample preparation, amplification of sample, separation of amplified products and detection of separated material.
