cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase, Catalytic Subunit
Purified cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase
The purified 40kDa cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase (PKA), Catalytic Subunit, may be used to phosphorylate target proteins or for in vitro enzymological studies of neural and hormonal signal transduction. Intracellular targets include ion channels, transcriptional activator proteins, and regulatory enzymes of glycogen metabolism.
Storage Buffer: Purified Kinase for Protein Phosphorylation and Signal Transduction Studies
Unit Definition: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 1pmol of phosphate into casein in one minute at 30°C.
